Only 5 weeks until I leave for the Philippines. The summer has flown by and I can't believe it is almost September. Welcome Week has started on SBU's campus and Bolivar is flooded with college students again. It feels so strange to not be a part of it all. I have so many mixed emotions, but feel thankful for the time of rest I am having. Here are some ways you can be praying for me...
1. Pray for me as I continue to transition away from SBU and being a Resident Director.
2. Pray for me as I begin the process of saying goodbye to friends and family.
3. Pray for my flight. (this may sound silly, but I would love an aisle seat it makes 15 hours on a plane
much easier to endure.)
4. Pray for the Philippines: the people and places I will encounter.
5. Pray for financial support. I still need approx. $1000
